Joseph York 
Joseph was born in 1734 in Union Bridge, Pipecreek Settlement, Carroll County, MD. Joseph's father was Jeremiah York and his mother was Sarah Seymour. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah York and Unknown; his maternal grandparents were John Seymour and Maiden name may not be Seymour. He had eleven brothers and a sister, named Semore, John, Henry B., Thomas, James, Aaron, William, Bartholomew, Jeremiah, Jesse, Elijah and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 75 on October 8th, 1809 in Mississippi Territory, now Madison County, Alabama.-
