Eve Dorothy was born on October 15th, 1792 in Randolph Co, NC. Eve Dorothy's father was Henry B. York and her mother was Margaret Lenderman. Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah York and Sarah Seymour; her maternal grandparents were Henry Lenderman and Eve Dorothy ?. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Eli, Henry F., Leonard, Sarah Sally, Elizabeth and Zilpha. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Richard, Eli, Edmond, Samuel, Mollie, Susanah and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 65 on September 29th, 1858.-
