Eupheme Stewart 
Eupheme was born about 1195 in Dundonald, Ayshire, Scotland.1 Eupheme's father was Walter I Stewart and her mother was Beatrix Douglas. Her paternal grandparents were Alan le Steward and Margaret de Galloway; her maternal grandparents were Gilchrist Douglas De Angus and Marjory of Huntingdon. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Fifth Earl of Menteith (de jure, John, Elizabeth, Margaret and Daughter. She died about 1267 in Whittingham, East Lothian, Scotland.1 General Notes
He [Patrick de Dunbar] married, in or before 1213, Eupheme, daughter of William de Brus by Christina, daughter of [----] [and Earl Patrick's stepsister]. The manor of Birkynside (or Birkenside), co Lauderdale was Euphemia's maritagium, which is then found as the holding of her grandson John de Dunbar, son of Patrick. (SP III:256, cities Registrum de Dryburgh, 84, 85)
Euphemia was the eldest child of Walter.
