James Johnstone

James was born in 1625 in Dunskellie, Dumfries, Scotland. James' father was James Johnstone and his mother was Margaret Douglas. His paternal grandparents were James Johnstone and Sarah Maxwell; his maternal grandparents were William Douglas and Isabel Kerr. He was an only child. He died at the age of 47 on July 17th, 1672 in Leith, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. He was buried on July 30th, 1672 in Greyfriars Abbey, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
