Gertrude of was born in Flanders, Belgium. Gertrude of's father was Dietrich II Von Flandern and her mother was Sibylla De Anjou. Her paternal grandparents were Dietrich II Herzog Von Ober-Lothrin and Gertrud Von Flandern; her maternal grandparents were Fulk of Jerusalem and Ermengarde or Ermentrude du Maine. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Philip of, Peter of, Matthew, Pierre of, Margarethe and Matilda of. She had a half-sister named Laurette of. She died in 1186.-
