Sibylla was born in Anjou, France.  Sibylla's father was Fulk of Jerusalem and her mother was Ermengarde or Ermentrude du Maine.  Her paternal grandparents were Foulques "The Brawler" Rechin d'Anjou and Bertrada De Montfort-l'Amaury; her maternal grandparents were Helie I de la Fleche and Matilda of Chateau Du Loire. She had two brothers and a sister, named Elias, Geoffrey V "le Bon" and Mathilde. She had two half-brothers named Baldwin III of and Amalric I of.  She died in Bethlehem, Palestine.  She was buried in 1166 in Abbey of St. Lazarus, Bethlehem.
