Isabel was born on November 8th, 1226 in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England. Isabel's father was Gilbert De Clare and her mother was Isabel Marshal. Her paternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Amice FitzRobert; her maternal grandparents were William Marshal and Isabel De Strigoil De Clare. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard, William, Gilbert, Amice and Agnes. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Henry of, Child, Child and Child. She died before May 10th, 1275 in Yorkshire, Scotland.-
