Annie Mae Bates 
Annie Mae was born on November 26th, 1904 in Macon Co, NC.1 Annie Mae's father was Harley Anderson Bates and her mother was Maggie Garland. Her paternal grandparents were James A. Bates and Mary M. Henson. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Ray Delania, James Wilson, Fannie Irene, Florence Magalene, Bessie Pauline, Bernadette, Ada Burnette and Katherine Virginia. She died at the age of 82 in November 1986 in Franklin, Macon County, NC. She was buried in Coweeta Baptist Church Cemetary.2 General Notes
