Reuben Aldridge 
Reuben was born on May 26th, 1771 in Rowan County, NC. Reuben's father was James Aldridge and his mother was Rosanna Kendrick. His paternal grandparents were James A. Aldridge and Mary Gassaway. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Abner, Jesse, John, Nathan, Sarah, Tabitha, Elizabeth and Susannah. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
