Alice was born about 1105 in Hinckley, Leicestershire, Eng. Alice's father was Count Robert de Beaumont I of Meulan and her mother was Countess Isabel de Vermandois of Leicester. Her paternal grandparents were Roger de Beaumont and Lady Adeline de Meulan of Beaumont; her maternal grandparents were Count Hugh Magnus de Vermandois and Adele de Vermandois. She had two sisters named Adeline and Eleanor. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died on July 11th, 1191 in Reims, France. She was buried in St Ebruf, Utica.-
