Ingrid was born about 1001 in Uppsala, Sweden.  Ingrid's father was King Olaf ("Skotkonung") Eriksson III of Sweden and her mother is Princess Astrid of the Obotrites.  Her paternal grandparents were King Erik ("Seiersal", "Victorius") Bjornsson VII and Princess Gunhilda of Poland; her maternal grandfather was Prince Mieceslas of the Obotrites and her maternal grandmother is Sophia. She had a sister named Estrid. She had a half-brother named Edmund.  She died on February 10th, 1050 in Kiev, Ukraine.


Ingrid's family with Grand Prince Yaroslav ("the Wise") Wladimirowwitsch I

‌Ingrid and "the Wise" were married in a religious ceremony in Uppsala, Sweden.  They had four sons and three daughters, named Vladimir, Izyaslav Dmitrij, Svyatopolk, Vsevolod, Elizaveta, Anastasiya Agmunda and Anna Agnesa.
