King Pepin ("the Short") III Martel 
Pepin, known as "the Short", was born in 0715 in Austrasia, France. "the Short"'s father was King Charles ("the Hammer") Martel of France and his mother was Chrotrud Treves. His paternal grandparents were Duke Pepin d'Heristal II of Austrasia and Elphide de Saxonie; his maternal grandfather was Bishop Leutwinus Treves and his maternal grandmother is daughter. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Carloman, Bernard, Hieronmus, Aude, Auda and Landrade. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Bernard, Bernard, daughter, Landree and Olba. He died at the age of 53 on September 24th, 0768 in St. Denis, Paris, Seine, France.General Notes
