Edhilda's father was King Edward ("the Elder") d'Angleterre I of England and her mother was Aelflaeda de Bernicie. Her paternal grandparents were King Alfred ("the Great") of Wessex and Queen Ealhswith of the Gaini; her maternal grandparents were Aethelhelm of Wiltshire and Elswitha of Mercia. She had three sisters named Hedwige, Eadgyth and Edgifu. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named "the Elder", "the Magnificent", Thyra and Edith. She died on January 26th, 0946.-
