Katharina was born in 1421 in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony.1 Katharina's father was Frederick I Wettin and her mother was Princess Catherina. Her paternal grandparents were Friedrich Landgrave and Katharina Von Henneberg Schleusingen. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Friedrich, Heinrich Zu, Sigismund Zu, Katharine Princess Of, Anna and Princess. She had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, Friedrich, Henri, William The, Guillaume and Katherine. She died at the age of 55 on August 23rd, 1476 in Berlin, Saxony, Germany.1 -
