Marguerite Guillebourdeau 
Marguerite was born in 1620 in Marcay, Poitou, France.1 Marguerite's father was Louis Guillebourdeau and her mother was Marie Maguin. She was an only child. She died at the age of 42 on October 20th, 1662 in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada.1 General Notes
Marguerite Guillebourday was supposedly murdered by
the Iroquois on a massacre in the Ile de Orleans on
October,1662.
Jean and Marguerite had a daughter named Jeannne. She
was born on May, 1651. She was nine years old at
the time of the attack. She is noted in the history
books as the " Young blonde girl about 9 years of age
that was captured by the Iroquois at that time. She
was kept prisoner until she was 18 when she was
released after the French paid a ransom for her.
Apparently her experience did not do too much harm to
her as after she returned to the French people she
outlived three husbands."
‌Marguerite and Jean were married in a religious ceremony on November 20th, 1650 in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada.1 They had three sons and a daughter, named Louis, Jean, Nicolas and Jeanne.
