Jeanne Baillargeon 
Jeanne was born on May 4th, 1651 in Quebec, PQ, Canada.1 Jeanne's father was Jean Baillargeon and her mother was Marguerite Guillebourdeau. Her paternal grandparents were Louis Baillargeon and Marthe Fovier; her maternal grandparents were Louis Guillebourdeau and Marie Maguin. She had three brothers named Louis, Jean and Nicolas. She died at the age of 78 on August 19th, 1729 in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada.1 General Notes
Jean and Marguerite had a daughter named Jeannne. She
was born on May, 1651. She was nine years old at
the time of the attack. She is noted in the history
books as the " Young blonde girl about 9 years of age
that was captured by the Iroquois at that time. She
was kept prisoner until she was 18 when she was
released after the French paid a ransom for her.
Apparently her experience did not do too much harm to
her as after she returned to the French people she
outlived three husbands."
