Walter Giffard 
Walter was born in 1175 in Boyton, Wiltshire, England.1 Walter's father was Elias Giffard and his mother was Maud Fitzharding De Berkeley. His maternal grandparents were Maurice Fitzrobert Fitzharding and Alice De Berkeley. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Elis, Thomas, Osbert, Gilbert, John, Eliasiv and Berta. He died at the age of 51 in 1226.1 -
