Catherine Gaines

Catherine was born on October 11th, 1774 in Culpeper, VA, USA.¹   Catherine's father was Humphrey Gaines and her mother was Sarah Watts. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Henry, William, Frances Watts, Sarah, Esther, Hannah, Elizabeth Rebecca, Mary and Anne.  She is the youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother named Richard H.
