Duke Ernest 
Duke was born in 1784 in Coburg, Sachsen.1 Duke's father was Francis Frederick. His paternal grandparents were Ernest Frederick and Sophia Antonia. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Ernst Anton, Leopold I Of, Franz Maximilian, Ferdinand George, Sophie Frederica, Marianne Wettin Saxe and Victoria Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 60 on January 29th, 1844 in Gotha, Sachsen.1 -
