Franz Josias 
Franz was born on September 25th, 1697 in Saalfeld, S Mnng, Thuringia.1 Franz's father was John Ernst Wettin and his mother was Charlotte Johanna Von Waldeck. His paternal grandparents were Ernst I Saxe Gotha and Elizabeth Sophie. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Wilhelm Friedrich Saxe Coburg, Charles Ernest, Sophie Wilhelmine Van Saksen Saalfeld, Henriette Albertine Saxe Coburg, Luise Emilie Saxe Coburg and Charlotte Saxe Coburg. He was the youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Christian Ernest, Christiana and Charlotte. He died at the age of 66 on September 16th, 1764 in Rodach, S C Gt, Thuringia.1 -
