Dorcas Bessey

Dorcas was born in 1641 in Edgartown, Dukes, MA, USA.¹ Dorcas' father was Anthony Besse and her mother was Jane Beme. Her paternal grandfather was John Besse. She had a brother and five sisters, named David, Anne, Mary, Jane, Elizabeth and Rebecca. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 38 in April 1679 in Saco, York, ME, USA.¹
