Matthias Barton 
Matthias was born in 1762 in Ireland.1 Matthias' father was Thomas Barton and his mother was Esther Rittenhouse. His maternal grandparents were Matthias Rittenhouse and Elizabeth Williams. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, David Rittenhouse, Richard Peters, Thomas, Benjamin Smith, Esther and Juliana Susanna. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 47 on January 11th, 1809 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA, USA.1 -
