Stephen was born on March 13th, 1739 in E. Bradford, Chstr, PA. Stephen's father was Phillip TAYLOR and his mother was Mary GILPIN. His paternal grandparents were Phillip TAYLOR and Ann CONWAY; his maternal grandparents were Joseph GILPIN and Hannah GLOVER.
