Mary was born on December 23rd, 1753 in E. Bradford, Chstr, PA. Mary's father was Phillip TAYLOR and her mother was Mary GILPIN. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip TAYLOR and Ann CONWAY; her maternal grandparents were Joseph GILPIN and Hannah GLOVER. She had three brothers and nine sisters, named Phillip, Stephen, John, Hannah, Lydia, Ann, Ruth, Phoebe, Lydia, Rachel, Ruth and Rachel.
