Nicholas Olmstead

Nicholas was born in November 1583 in Great Leighs, Essex, England and his baptism took place there on November 24th, 1583.  Nicholas' father was James Olmsted (Olmstead) and his mother was Jane Bristow.  His paternal grandparents are James Olmstead and Alice UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather is Dennis Bristow. He had four brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Richard, James, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Mabell, Elizabeth, Mary and Thomas.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 95 on March 7th, 1679 in Of Much, Parrendon, Essex, England.
