John Olmstead

John was born on February 20th, 1592 in Great Leighs, Essex, England and his baptism took place there on February 20th, 1592.  John's father was James Olmsted (Olmstead) and his mother was Jane Bristow.  His paternal grandparents are James Olmstead and Alice UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather is Dennis Bristow. He had four brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Richard, James, Nicholas, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Mabell, Elizabeth, Mary and Thomas.  He is the third youngest of the eleven children.
