Thomas was born in 1821 and his baptism took place on May 14th, 1821 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. Thomas' father was Thomas Osguthorpe and his mother was Ann KITSON. His paternal grandparents were John Osguthorpe and Betty ASHMORE; his maternal grandparents are John KITSON and Elizabeth Tetley.
