Rebecca was born on January 13th, 1664 in Freetown, Bristol, MA. Rebecca's father was John Hathaway and her mother was Martha Shephard. Her paternal grandfather was Nicholas Hathaway and her paternal grandmother is Mrs-Nicholas Hathaway; her maternal grandparents were John Sheppard and Frances Kingston. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Abraham, Isaac, Ephraim, Elizabeth and Abigail. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 78 on December 31st, 1742 in Dighton, Bristol, MA. She was buried in January 1743 in Dighton, Bristol, MA.-
