John HOLLINGSWORTH 
John was born on February 19th, 1684 in Shellpot Creek, New Castle, Lawrence Co., PA. John's father was Valentine HOLLINGSWORTH and his mother was Ann Hollingsworth REE (REA). His paternal grandparents are Henry HOLLINGSWORTH and Catherine CORNISH; his maternal grandparents are Nicolas (Nicholas) REE and Ann Of TANDERAGEE. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Thomas, Samuel, Enoch, Valentine Jr., Joseph, Enoch, Mary, Catherine and Ann. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 38 in August 1722 in New Castle Co., DE.General Notes
