Mathilda (Maud) De Louvain

Mathilda (Maud) was born in 1005.  Mathilda (Maud)'s father was Lambert I 'The Bearded' Count Of Brabant and her mother was Gerberge De Laon.  Her paternal grandparents were Regnier III Count Of Hainaut and Adele Von Ringelheim Of Louvain; her maternal grandparents were Charles De Laon and Adelheid (Adelaide) De Ardenne. She had three brothers and a sister, named Henry I, Lambert II, Eustache and Landrade.  She is the third oldest of the five children.

‌Mathilda (Maud) and Eustace I were married in a religious ceremony in 1019.¹   They had two sons and a daughter, named Lambert II, Eustace II and Gerberge.
