Frederick J. was born in 1684 in Harlem, Manhattan, New York.  Frederick J.'s father was Frederick DEVEAUX and his mother was Hester TERNEUR TOURNEUR.  His paternal grandparents were Jean Daniel Tourneur and Jacqueline de PARISIS; his maternal grandparents were Jean Daniel Tourneur and Jacqueline de PARISIS. He had two sisters named Hester and Leah(Lena).  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had seven half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Jacob, Frederich J. Devoe, Frederick, Daniel, Abel, Joseph, Benjamin, Rachel, Esther, Susanne, Mary, Leah, Dinah, Judith and Abigail.  He died at the age of 69 in 1753 in Morrisiania, New York.
