Hiram Wells 
Hiram's father was William Francis Wells Sr. and his mother was Kelton. His paternal grandparents were Charles Wells and Sally. He had a brother and a sister, named William Francis and Margaret.General Notes
Hiram wells was the son of William but was after the death of William at
the Alamo he was adopted by his mothers father Robert Kelton and his last name
was changed to Kelton. Hiram married an Ann Chastain on August 6,1845 and
had a son Elias Kelton who later served time for murder in Alabama and
after his release moved to Texas. He apparently murdered a employed
worker who was making eyes at his young wife.
