Joel Rucker 
Joel was born on November 10th, 1823. Joel's father was Simeon Bluford Rucker and his mother is Jane Barnwell. His paternal grandfather was George Rucker Sr. and his paternal grandmother is Cassie. He had five brothers and three sisters, named George Elsie, William Derrell, Simeon, Russell J., John, Nancy, Julia and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. Joel is no longer alive.-
