Amanda was born on September 6th, 1836 in ShelbyCo,KY. Amanda's father was Lewis Wilcoxson and her mother was Nancy Miles. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Wilcoxson and Sarah 'Sallie' Faulkner; her maternal grandfather was Samuel Jr. Miles. She had four brothers and a sister, named James Flournoy, Israel Putnam, Warren, Andrew Jackson MD and Sarah Ann. She was the third youngest of the six children. She had two half-brothers named John Lewis and Quinn David. She died at the age of 54 on March 4th, 1891 in Bagdad,ShelbyCo,KY. She was buried in 1891 in Bagdad,ShelbyCo,KY.-
