Jodie McCoy was born on May 10th, 1894. Jodie McCoy's father was William Arthur Underwood and her mother was Ida Elnora McBrayer. Her paternal grandparents were George Terrell Underwood and Sarah Ellen Kee. She had two brothers and nine sisters, named William Harrison, Ramah Springs, Myrtle Ardella, Ruby Lillian, Lillie Ruth, Ada Irene, Bessie Lee, Jessie Mae, Terrell Juanita, Sephronia Ellen and Katharine Gresham. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 94 on June 9th, 1988.-
