Joseph Smalley 
Joseph was born on December 3rd, 1702. Joseph's father was Samuel Smalley and his mother is Elizabeath Heard. His paternal grandparents were Francis Smalley and Elizabeth Leighton. He had a brother and two sisters, named Samuel, Elizabeth and Mary. He is the second youngest of the four children.General Notes
June 22, 1721, a church was formed at sturgeon Creek, now Eloit. among the prominent memvers were Mary , wife of Joseph Smalley, John Pugsley, Sr. Husband to Elizabeth Smalley.
