William Joshua Skaggs

William Joshua was born on March 19th, 1864.  William Joshua's father was Dotson Elbert Skaggs and his mother is Mary Malinda Stapp.  His paternal grandfather was William Brock Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Warner. He has five brothers and three sisters, named John Calvin, Elbert Dotson, Charles, Oscar, George Ernest, Flora Catherine, Sarah Josephine and Nancy Jane.  He is the third oldest of the nine children.
