Sophia Ann was born in March 1892 in Kentucky. Sophia Ann's father is Marshall T. Skaggs and her mother is Luvina E. Poteet. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Wade Skaggs and Elizabeth Underwood. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William T., Roy W., Lillie L., Alice A. and Lizzie B.. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 49 in 1941. She was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Church,Larue Co.,Kentucky.-
