Sarah Skaggs

Sarah was born in 1818 in Kentucky.  Sarah's father was William Brock Skaggs and her mother is Nancy Wells. She had three brothers and a sister, named John Calvin, William Perry, Josiah B. and Jane.  She is the second oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph Brock, Dotson Elbert, William Perry, Sarah S. and Jane.

‌Sarah and William were married in a religious ceremony on January 5th, 1837 in Kentucky.  They have a daughter named Mary.

‌Sarah and Stephen S. were married in a religious ceremony on July 5th, 1843 in Green Co.,Kentucky.  They had two sons and two daughters, named William G., Henry G., Nancy and Mary.
