Mary Jane Skaggs 
Mary Jane was born on March 28th, 1858 in Green Co.,Kentucky. Mary Jane's father was John Calvin Skaggs and her mother is Nancy Skaggs. Her paternal grandfather was William Brock Skaggs and her paternal grandmother is Nancy Warner; her maternal grandfather was Matthew Skaggs and her maternal grandmother is Mary Catherine Long. She had four brothers named William Henry, John Alfred, James Dobson and Stephen Thomas. She was the second youngest of the five children. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Samuel Major, Henry Moody, Jefferson Henry, Luther Forster, Luther Foster, Malissa Jane, Burnette, Caroline, Laura Green and Rachel Ermma. She died at the age of 102 in 1960 in Kentucky.-
