James Thomas Skaggs 
James Thomas was born on March 13th, 1843 in Green Co.,Kentucky. James Thomas' father was Stephen Skaggs and his mother was Rhoda Warren. His paternal grandfather was Henry Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Berry Skaggs; his maternal grandparents were William J. Warren and Rhoda Unknown. He had five brothers and five sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Henry David, Hezekiah, William L., Uriah, Elijah P., Mary, Lucinda Jane, Elizabeth, Emily, Rachel Ann, Unknown and Unknown. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 80 on February 24th, 1924.-
