James Henry Skaggs 
James Henry was born on August 2nd, 1840 in Danby,Jefferson Co.,Missouri. James Henry's father was Henry S. Skaggs and his mother was Mary Eaglebarger. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Skaggs and Nancy Andrews. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named John M., Stephen F., Frank M., T. H., William Leslie, Josephine, Mary Louisa, Jane, Susan Bettie, Julia, Lilly and Hepsie. He died at the age of 55 on September 4th, 1895 in Pocahontus,Arkansas.-
