Ruell Shofner 
Ruell's father was Chester Young Shofner and his mother is Amy Frances DeSpain. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Shofner and Louisa Catherine Skaggs. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Gaines Mickie, Living, Living, Fay, Garnette, Living and Living.-
