Chester Young Shofner 
Chester Young was born on May 10th, 1909. Chester Young's father was Thomas Jefferson Shofner and his mother was Louisa Catherine Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman. He had two brothers and four sisters, named David Cleaver, Charles Thomas, Ruth Janel, Bettie Susan, Myrtle White and Ethel Maye. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 48 on October 20th, 1957.-
