Samuel J. Purcell

Samuel J. was born in 1802.  Samuel J.'s father was Samuel Purcell and his mother was Ann Brewer.  His maternal grandfather was George Brewer and his maternal grandmother is Mary Unknown. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin S., Daniel, Elihu, Joel, Moses O., Elizabeth and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 69 in 1871 in Pike Co.,Newburg,Illinios.  He was buried in El Dara,Pike,Illinois.
