Elihu Purcell

Elihu was born in 1805 in Dearborn Co.,Indiana. Elihu's father was Samuel Purcell and his mother was Ann Brewer. His maternal grandfather was George Brewer and his maternal grandmother is Mary Unknown. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Samuel J., Benjamin S., Daniel, Joel, Moses O., Elizabeth and Mary. He is the third youngest of the eight children.

‌Elihu and Peninnah were married in a religious ceremony on June 16th, 1832 in Vermillion,Illinois.
