Eli was born on May 12th, 1823. Eli's father was Barton Morris and his mother was Comfort King. His paternal grandparents were Levi Morris and Elizabeth Snider. He had a brother and a sister, named David Snyder and Sarah A.. He died at the age of 50 on October 30th, 1873. He was buried in Hagans Cemetery.-
