Martha Mayo 
Martha was born in 1766 in Buckingham Co.,Virginia. Martha's father was Valentine Mayo and her mother is Anne Patterson. Her paternal grandparents were James Mayo and Ruth Underwood. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Valentine ,Jr., Thomas, James, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ruth and Nancy. She is the third oldest of the nine children.-
