Samuel March 
Samuel was born in 1730. Samuel's father is Benjamin March and his mother is Elizabeth Smalley. His maternal grandfather was Samuel Smalley and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeath Heard. He had a brother and four sisters, named Benjamin, Jenney, Lucy, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 74 on October 30th, 1804.General Notes
Cousin to Samuel Smalley , between whom the strongest friendship always existed, were the most prominent men in the affairs of the town of Scarborough for nearly half a century. They were both members fo the Provincial Congress during the Revolutionary period, and wre on the Committee of Correspondence and Safety, " Enspection," in 1775, 1777, 1778, and 1779. At the beginning of the Revolutionary War, Samuel was Lieutenant-Colonel in Colonel Edmund Phinney's 31 st. regiment, "engaged April 24, 1775 and served to Aug 01, 1775. He also appeared on a list of field and staff officers of Captain John Brackett's company dated Sept 29, 1775. Samuel was the well known Col. Samuel March of Scarborough, Maine.

‌Samuel and Anna were married in a religious ceremony. They had six sons and eight daughters, named Benjamin, John, Benjamin, Samuel, James, Nathaniel, Keziah, Anna, Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, Eunice, Sarah and Lucy.

Elizabeth was born on January 16th, 1759. She died at the age of 79 on March 21st, 1838.
