Mary Elizabeth was born on September 4th, 1865 in Rusk,Co.,Texas. Mary Elizabeth's father was Daniel Bethune ,Rev. Keahey and her mother was Sarah Eilzabeth Bishop. Her paternal grandparents are Elijah John Keahey and Catherine Bethune. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Jonathan, Daniel Perry, George Bishop, Elijah J., Myra and Annie Elizabeth. She died at the age of 88 on November 29th, 1953 in Snyder,Texas.-
